Pricing Estimation Calculator (Optional)
The Pricing Estimation Calculation is optional. This feature is unnecessary for clients who have a single price used at all sites. However, for clients who have multiple pricing levels or plan on employing multiple pricing levels in the current year, this calculator can determine what the pricing will need to be to match the pricing requirements and whether Non-Federal funds are required.
The grid contains the same data as the Weighted Average Price Calculator, but it allows the user to add additional rows by clicking the green More Lines button to calculate averages if their price increase is to be distributed unevenly. For example, if the user needs to raise the Weighted Average Price from 2.61 to 2.71. The following screenshot illustrates one method to achieve that price point.

1.The price increases are unevenly distributed (the first row has an increase from 2.45 to 2.65 while the second has an increase from 2.60 to 2.70).
2.The 4773 lunches from the fourth row have been split into two rows with slightly different prices (the overall total still equals 16,339 lunches).
Please Note: Users can remove lines from the grid by setting the Paid Lunches and Paid Lunch Price to zero and selecting Save, close and re-open.
